Brenda, Gabe, Amanda and I spent a week on the Outer Banks “Labor Day week,” 2007. This was the latest in the year that we had ever been to the beach and we were a bit concerned that the weather would be too cool, or the island too deserted to be much fun. But the weather was perfect, and we all had a great and relaxing time.
